Oblivion. 10% Playing, 90% Modding.

It's been a while since my last posts and I'm a bit ashamed to admit I just keep. getting. distracted. I still have a bunch of almost finished mods waiting for polish, as well as a bunch of ideas. But for every mod I finish, I get 2 new ideas. For every bug I fix, I find 3 new bugs. For every character I start, I get another new character idea.

I just looked at the calendar and noticed that I haven't actually played Oblivion in about half a year. At the beginning of the year I started creating a few mods and since then my game has been in a borderline unplayable state. I've been testing mods, editing mods, creating mods, removing mods, taking pictures of mods, but never actually played the game.

For the last few months I've been importing and exporting with blender, and it worked decently well. But yesterday I decided for the first time to create something from scratch. I didn't want to go hunting for resources and permissions for something as simple as an iron ingot.

Just some general whining, because what's the point of a blog if I can't use it to scream into the void.

Oblivion is one of my favourite games, probably the most favourite one. I've played games with better graphics, better stories, better gameplay, but for some reason, it is Oblivion that draws me back in again and again. I only wish it was a bit more stable, especially when running a lot of mods.
