My last post was about file sizes mostly because of alpha channels. This time it is about the use of textures. In the last weeks I have been looking around for more unique gear for my characters. I found a great top, but didn't like the skirt that was part of it. I found a necklace in one outfit I wanted to use in another and many little things more.

There is this tool called Ordenador that can optimize textures all on its own. I strongly suggest checking it out, if you just want to optimize existing mods. The guide below is mainly meant for optimizing stuff you create and might want to release (or not).
